This week World Cup Skiing on 4 comes from Lake Louise in Canada where the first Men's Downhill of the season takes place. Nick Fellows will be joined in the commentary box by former Canadian team racer Ken Read, who was one of the infamous Crazy Canucks.

The Channel 4 ski team will take an in depth look at the new generation of Canucks in our Canadian Cowboys feature.

We will also be taking a closer look at British No.1 Finlay Mickel as Nick Fellows catches up with the Scot during his pre season training in Portillio, Chile.

In addition to the race action we will also be featuring the first of our series of skiing fitness tips in our "Fit to Ski" section with Chemmy Alcott. Each week Chemmy will be on hand to demonstrate to viewers how to get into tip top shape for hitting the slopes.

This week's show also includes a resort guide on Lake Louise which reveals why it is known as one of the most romantic ski destinations in the world.

World Cup Skiing on 4 will also keep you up to date with the improving snow conditions in North America.
