British Snowboard Teams Continue to Win Medals
The British World Cup Halfpipe, Snowboardcross and Freestyle Teams continued to achieve podium results over the weekend when they competed in two Europa Cup Halfpipe events in Czech and World Cup Halfpipe event in Japan.
The British Freestyle Team
Dom Harington added a gold and bronze medal to his already impressive medal collection over the weekend when he competed in two Europa Cup Halfpipe competitions in Klinovec, Czech. Dom qualified in first place just in front of Jan Michealis (GER) during Saturday’s competition and maintained his lead to take the title in the final. Dom threw down a solid run including: f/s 540, mctwist, air-to-fakie, hakonflip, f/s 720, and switch f/s air. Jack Shackelton also achieved great results over the weekend with two top 10 finishes. Jacks run included: f/s 540, b/s 540, crippler, b/s air, f/s 720, and corked 360.

The British World Cup Halfpipe Team
Dan Wakeham, Ben Kilner and Angus Leith competed in the seventh World Cup Halfpipe event in Gujo-Gifu, Japan on Saturday 23rd February and despite poor weather conditions continued to bag some top results and valuable points:

The British Snowboardcross Team
British Snowboardcross Team Member, Tim McGregor also competed in two Snowboardcross events over the weekend, Friday 22nd February and Sunday 24th February in Austria. Tim successfully made it through to the semi finals at both events and achieved his best result of the season finishing in a respectable 27th and 30th place respectively. The next competition on the World Cup schedule will be the World Cup Halfpipe at Calgary, 28th - 29th February and the World Cup Snowboardcross at Lake Placid, USA from the 1st – 3rd March. The British Freestyle team will be heading over to Slovenia from the 1st – 2nd March for the next Europa Cup event, whilst the Snowboardcross Team gear up for an FIS competition in Splugen, Switzerland.
